Starting on October 28, 2022, it will only be broadcast on Amazon Prime. The Kamen Rider franchise’s 50th anniversary was celebrated with the creation of this program. The new actors portraying the titular Black Sun and his companions are visible in the trailer.
The three main characters are introduced in the trailer. Young activist Aoi Izumi is fighting for human and Kaijin equality. The two Kamen Riders are Kamen Rider Shadow Moon and Kamen Rider Black Sun (Kotaro Minami) (Nobuhiko Akizuki). They both stand to succeed the current Creation King and have a common history.

BLack Sun was initially revealed by Toei in 2021. It is a “reboot” of the 1987 television series Kamen Rider Black. It’s unclear how closely Black Sun’s narrative will adhere to Black’s. Humans and Kaijin coexist in Black Sun, but Kaijin frequently experience discrimination. On top of that, humans are also being transformed into Kaijin by an unknown individual.
