The 2024 Nissan Z Nismo is generating excitement among Nissan fans in the United States, and leaked documents suggest that its starting price will be $64,990, with a $1,095 destination charge, making a total of $66,085. This price puts it slightly above the cost of the 2024 BMW M2 in the U.S., which is priced at $63,200 before delivery charges.
The 2024 Nissan Z Nismo boasts a 3.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V6 engine producing 420 hp (313 kW/426 PS), a more aggressive tire setup, and a revised aerodynamic package for improved performance and grip.
In comparison, the 2024 Nissan Z Sport is expected to start at $43,305 (including the destination charge), while the Nissan Z Performance will start at $53,305 (including the destination charge). Additionally, opting for the Stealth Gray paint color will add $1,295 to the MSRP.
The 2024 Nissan Z Nismo offers an extra 20 hp (15 kW/20.2 PS) compared to the standard model, thanks to an updated wastegate that increases boost, along with improved engine oil cooling as standard. It features a revised front bumper and splitter package to add front downforce, new side sills for reduced drag, and unique 19-inch Rays wheels wrapped in Dunlop SP Sport MAXX GT600 tires.
This Nismo model is exclusively available with a nine-speed automatic transmission, which has received revisions for quicker downshifts. It also includes launch control and a Sport+ mode optimized for track use.
Although Nissan has not officially revealed the pricing for the 2024 Z Nismo or the rest of the lineup, this alleged leak suggests that the announcement is imminent, given the approaching new year.
