Samsung Galaxy A05s Leaked, This is How the Gadget Looks Like

Samsung is adding to its lineup of entry-level devices with the upcoming Galaxy A05s. Leaked renders reveal the device’s design and some key specifications. The Galaxy A05s is expected to feature a 6.6-inch display with a waterdrop notch (Infinity-V) and will have dimensions of 167.9 x 77.7 x 8.8 mm. It will come equipped with a 4,000 mAh battery that supports 25W wired charging and will retain the 3.5 mm headphone jack.

While additional specifications are currently unknown, the Galaxy A05s is expected to be positioned as an affordable smartphone. It has already received approval from the FCC, indicating an imminent official announcement in the coming weeks.

To provide a point of comparison, last year’s Galaxy A04s, which the A05s is expected to replace, featured a 6.5-inch 720×1600 90 Hz LCD display, the Exynos 850 SoC, up to 4GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, a triple rear camera system (50 MP main, 2 MP macro, 2 MP depth sensor), a 5 MP selfie camera, and a 5,000 mAh battery with 15W wired charging. Notably, the A05s reduces the battery capacity while increasing the charging speed, which may be seen as a trade-off.
