Sony PS5 now more colorful, called the Deep Earth Collection when available?

Sony has unveiled a captivating new range of colors for its PlayStation 5 console, known as the Deep Earth Collection. These colors draw inspiration from the mesmerizing and potent hues found in the depths of our planet Earth.

The Deep Earth Collection comprises three distinct colors:

  1. Volcanic Red: This shade of red is richer and brighter compared to the previously introduced Cosmic Red. It boasts a metallic finish, imparting a glossy sheen to the console.
  2. Cobalt Blue: This blue tone is deeper than the earlier Starlight Blue and features hints of purple. Like Volcanic Red, Cobalt Blue also sports a metallic finish.
  3. Sterling Silver: Sterling Silver is a straightforward and shiny silver color with the same metallic finish seen in the other two shades.

It’s important to note that these Deep Earth Collection colors will only be available as optional covers and controllers for existing PlayStation 5 owners. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to purchase a new PS5 console in these colors.

The optional covers are priced at $60 each, while the DualSense controllers are available at $75. Pre-orders will commence on October 4, with the Volcanic Red and Cobalt Blue options becoming available on November 3, 2023, and the Sterling Silver option arriving on January 26, 2024.
