This is the new Mini Cooper JCW

Several weeks ago, Mini unveiled its brand-new, purely electric Cooper and Countryman models, with the former being available in Cooper E and Cooper SE editions.

Nevertheless, the British automaker is also preparing the John Cooper Works version of the electric model, and just recently, leaked photos of it emerged as it was spotted on a German road without any camouflage whatsoever.

In these images, we observe the fresh wheel designs of the new Mini Cooper JCW, its graphics, as well as the aerodynamic kit long before its scheduled release. The car notably lacks plastic wheel arch covers, allowing the swollen fenders to make a statement on their own.

What’s particularly striking is the complete absence of the iconic hood scoop, a feature that has been a hallmark of the car for over two decades.

In conclusion, there is still no information available regarding the performance of the initial electric JCW model, but it’s certainly expected to be more potent than the current gasoline-powered version, with rumors suggesting it will deliver a substantial 250 horsepower.
