AC Schnitzer BMW i4 M50 Police Car

AC Schnitzer gave a special BMW i4 M50 a makeover for Germany’s Tune It! Safe! campaign.

The car has a full Polizei paint job and a lot of upgrades that make it stand out from a regular BMW i4. The tuner started with the front, where he added a new front spoiler, splitter, and small canards on either side of the bumper. A small spoiler on the roof, a small rear wing made of lightweight carbon fiber, and new side skirts are some of the other changes.

A new set of wheels that stand out has also been put on. These wheels are called “AC4 Flow Forming wheels,” and their finish is black and silver. They are covered with Hankook Ventus S1 evo 3 tires that are 255/35 in front and 265/35 in the back to help the EV stay on the road. The changes to the outside are finished off by the Polizei paint job and all the flashing lights you’d find on a regular police car.

A few small changes have been made to the interior of the i4 M50. Aluminum pedals, a footrest, and a cover for the i-Drive controller are some of the changes.

The powertrain of the i4 M50 has not been changed, which is different from most of AC Schnitzer’s other products. In fact, a lowering kit that drops the ride height by 20 mm (0.7 inches) in front and 25 mm (0.98 inches) in back is the most important performance upgrade.

To remind you, the BMW i4 M50 has two electric motors that work together to make 536 hp and 586 lb-ft of torque. It can reach 60 mph (96 km/h) in about 3.7 seconds, and its range on the WLTP cycle is up to 317 miles (510 km).
