Police Explanation: Explosion reported under Toronto bridge

After a fire and explosion were reportedly reported under a Toronto bridge on Saturday night, police say nobody was hurt.

According to Toronto police, an explosion was reported at 11:11 p.m. under a bridge near Fort York Boulevard and Bathurst Street.

According to a police spokesperson, it may have been the consequence of a fire involving propane and aerosol cans, Global News reported. They declared, “The fire has been extinguished and (Bathurst) has reopened.”

Numerous users uploaded fire videos to social media as well as reports of heavy smoke in the neighborhood.
