Anniversary edition for the Audi RS e-tron GT

The Audi Sport division is celebrating its 40th anniversary, and in honor of this milestone, they are releasing a special edition of one of their electric models, the RS e-tron GT, called the “ice race edition.” This limited-edition model will have only 99 numbered units produced.

The car features a metallic silver paint called “Florett silver,” inspired by the shades of ice in the Zell am See region of the Austrian Alps. In the past, this area hosted winter events with racing cars on the frozen lake’s surface. Although these events didn’t take place this year due to higher temperatures preventing the lake from freezing, Audi pays tribute to this tradition with the special edition’s color.

The RS e-tron GT ice race edition includes purple accents on elements such as the grille and the vehicle’s sides, reminiscent of the color of skier’s sunglasses. The roof is made of carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic, and the car is equipped with specially designed 21-inch wheels. Inside, the car will feature the same color scheme in certain areas of the dashboard and upholstery.

This limited-edition model serves as a nod to Audi Sport’s 40-year history of designing and developing high-performance vehicles, both with traditional engines and purely electric powertrains.
