The Xpeng Motors is a relatively newly established automaker, founded in 2014, with the aim of producing purely electric vehicles (EVs). Despite its youth compared to historical data in the European or American auto industry, the company has shown dynamism and innovation.
The executives at Xpeng Motors do not seem discouraged by their newcomer status; rather, they view it as an advantage. They are striving to introduce new perspectives on EV technology, battery technology, and charging infrastructure, as well as vehicle equipment.
The company participated in the Munich Motor Show, showcasing its models. Brian Gu, the President of Xpeng Motors, announced the company’s business plan for the European market during his speech at the event.
According to Gu, in the coming months, the company plans to establish official dealerships in three of the largest and most critical European markets by 2024: Germany, which hosted the exhibition, France, and the United Kingdom. Xpeng Motors aims to introduce its G6 and G9 SUVs, along with the four-door P7 sedan, in these countries as it strives to gain market share.
Xpeng Motors is positioning itself as a player in the global electric vehicle market and is making strategic moves to expand its presence in Europe, demonstrating its commitment to pushing the boundaries of EV technology and adoption.
