Firefighters in the Borough of Staten Island are on scene of Box 219, an 18 story, Occupied Multiple Dwelling with fire on the top floor. The first due arrived reporting fire on the top floor and transmitting a 10-77, high rise fire. The location is 700 Victory boulevard.
One line is now stretched and putting water on to the fire. Additional engine companies are stretching a second line from the standpipe. First due trucks are performing primary searches and opening up the floor as additional units are now arriving as part of the 10-77 signal.
The FDNY 10-77 (High Rise Residential) signal brings 5 engines, 5 ladders (Including a tower), 3 battalion chiefs, 1 deputy chief, 1 rescue, 1 squad, the Special Operations battalion chief, a safety coordinator, Field Communications Unit and the Safety chief.
