Firefighter Jeffrey A. Tyler of the Greenwood Volunteer Fire Department has been arrested and charged with two counts of arson in Greenwood, Maine. Authorities allege Tyler set a fire in one home and it jumped to a nearby exposure in Bethel, Maine.
Tyler is currently a member of the fire department which participated in the investigation. Tyler, age 28, is from Bethel, a part of Greenwood, Maine.

The Greenwood Fire Department serves the communities of Locke Mills and Greenwood City from 2 stations. The Locke Mills station is the department headqaurters and houses Engine 2, Engine 4 and Squad 3. The Greenwood City station is the home of Engine 1. We have 16 members who are on call 24/7 and are involved in constant training and education to enable them to serve thier community. We are members of the Northern Oxford Mutual Aid Association and respond to fires and rescues in most of Northern and central Oxford County including Woodstock, Bethel,Newry,West Paris and Norway.
