Firefighters in the borough of Brooklyn arrived on scene at 145 Rockaway Boulevard reporting a working fire in a four story occupied multiple dwelling. Initial engines stretched attack lines into the building to the third floor to begin extinguishing the fire.
A 2nd alarm was struck when fire took possession of portions of the fourth floor. Division 15 is reporting primary searches by ladders have been completed with negatives on all floors. Trucks are opening up and tower ladders are set up.
Division 15 reports the fire is possibly arson. He further reports all visible fire has been knocked down and the fire is "probably will hold."
