First arriving units reported a working fire in a four story, occupied multiple dwelling located at 787 Franklin Avenue in the borough of Brooklyn, New York. First in engines began stretching a line into operation as trucks began a primary search and began opening up.
Brooklyn Fire Alarm notified the Battalion Chief people were calling from inside the building stating they were still inside. Additional first alarm units were instructed to begin searching as engine companies worked on the fire.
A second line has now been stretched and the 33 battalion reports the fire doubtful at this time.
Division 11 announced en-route after the 10-75 signal.
