Firefighter Injured In Hit and Run

Fdnypatch A firefighter in Queens, New York has been transported to a local hospital in the borough after being the victim of a hit and run this morning. The unit he was traveling in was struck at Lefferts Avenue by a car. The firefighter is being treated at Jamaica Hospital.

The injured firefighter is reportedly in good condition with only minor injuries.

The FDNY protects over 2,229000 residents in the borough of Queens.
