1st. Shutting down engine companies.
Increased potential; for Life lost, property damage, work load on remaining companies,injuries to FF's.
2nd. Sprinklers. In SC about 12-18 months ago, it took a Veto Override to get some legislation passed. Also,read recently that the "Chunnel" the tunnel between the UK and France will be outfitted with a sprinkler system now.
They've proved their benefit for both Residential and Business Occupancy fire protection.
